I have a one piece Schweiss hydraulic hangar door, installed approximately 2009. Do you sell a remote automatic opener system for those doors? I’d like to be able to use a push-button remote to activate the door. Is this something I'll be able to install myself. Need this fairly quick as my cables are starting to go to crap again on me. Hello we recently purchased a Schweiss hydraulic fixed panel door from you for a hangar we built. It's awesome, looks and works great. I would like to hook up a remote control unit to it that come with two handheld remote controls. How can I order that? I didnt notice a parts catalog on your website. Current hanger has a three garage door type setup with fold-out wings and center supports that fold up and in. I would like to retrofit it with a single piece hydraulic door..

Hello, I recently installed my Schweiss hydraulic door and am now interested in information and parts to put kinetic energy radio door controls on the door. I plan on doing this from my phone if I can get a strong enough radio. This part I can provide. As of right now I just have the push buttons that I have to hold continuously to open and close the door. I would like to make this a momentary button operation when inside the garage. I realize I need some extra hardware for this. I see from the accessories page Schweiss offers photo-eyes and some switches. I would assume I need open limit switch and a closed limit switch as well as the photo eye to make this perform safely. I would also like to add a flashing light as well to warn people while it is opening. Does Schweiss also recommend the installation of a Safety relay for these controls? Could you please provide a parts list and cost for these accessories please. Thank you, Brian

We are considering a Schweiss hanger or bifold, installed with glass on a large custom residence. The opening sizes are approx. 2 @ 28ft and 1 @ 55ft with a man door. I purchased a Schweiss door about 3 years ago. When I open and close it I must hold the up or down switch continuously or the door's movement stops. I figured that this was normal - sort of like a dead man switch. The other day a friend that also has a Schweiss bifold door said that he didn't have to hold the switches in, that the door closes or opens until it reaches the associated limit switch. Can you clarify this?
