Hello, I plan to build a hangar in one of the most visited airstrips in Costa Rica, at a touristical pristine national parks area in the country with lots of places and activities to enjoy. It will have a small apartment included were the owner(s) can stay while flying and visiting great places around the country. According to the list of airpark communities you published in your web page, I’m interested in contacting some of them which are located in the south part of the USA, mainly because of nearer location from Costa Rica. My purpose is to rent it or sell it to a group of pilots “aficionados” that could be interested in visiting Costa Rica, have a hob to stay with their airplanes and fly over around this beautiful country. Which of these airparks would you recommend me to contact and see their interest? Best regards

I’m planning an Airpark home build for myself and am looking for some rough estimate costs on a bifold door with the lifting strap system. The hangar will be steel construction and am looking at a 50’ door width on the 60’ side of the 50’ x 60’ hangar/garage combo building. The door will not be centered as the first 10’ will be vehicle garage parking with separate entry doors on the 50’ side, if all this makes sense. I don’t have architectural plans yet so not sure of the door height yet. I want the hangar to be 2-story height (min 20’) so if there’s a standard door height for this width then I’d like your recommendation. Thanks in advance.

Looking at Schweiss doors for our project. These doors will need a minimum clearance of 14' when open. also, they will each need a single man door, so this might affect height as well. we plan on finishing them out with 26 gauge metal wall panels and trim. this building is in the design stage, so any advice/ options are welcome. thank you

We are specifying five (5) Scheweiss bi-fold doors to a project in an airpark in southern California. We would like to know what your structural support requirements are. Widths are roughly from 57'-0" to 20'-0".

We have existing overhead hangar doors 52 foot wide at our airpark. We would like to widen the opening to 60 feet for our new larger plane. We have block building. Would like a salesman look at the building and tell us if it is possible for bifold strap doors.

I'm looking for vertical bi-fold airpark doors (2-12x10), preferably something modern/contemporary to match our home. I'm looking for Schweiss engineering designer door options and looking to make a decision in the next week. I have a quote for traditional garage door in a modern aluminum/glass configuration. But I'd prefer a vertical bi-fold doors to avoid hanging tracks from ceilings.

Hi, Can you please provide me a rough cost estimate for a bi-fold airpark hangar door for a hangar home residence. Dimensions are 26' x 8'-6". Finish to be in corten steel. Do you do laser cutting of the corten steel by any chance as well?

Hello, We have two sliding hangar home airpark  doors. They are probably considered very small compared to door sizes you all work with. Each door is 12ft wide by 9ft tall. I was curious if you could give me a ballpark quote or a pricing guide to both, the bifold door and the hydraulic door. I can email you all drawings of my building if it would help to see it. These two doors can not retract in the building because we want the inside of the hangar to be completely open, free of doors, tracks, etc. I won't lose any headroom with a Schweiss hangar door.

We are quoting a hangar project in Weslaco, TX and the customer does not have any information on your Schweiss hydro doors or liftstrap bifold model airpark doors. Could we please get a quote with sizes and specs? The door size is 40' wide and 18' tall and there will be (8) of them total. Thanks
