All Inside Storage hangs 130 Schweiss Bi-fold Doors

Rental units feature schweiss bifold liftstrap/autolatch doors

No such thing as 'Hangar Rash' at All Inside Storage

Long or short term rentals and select units are available for purchase at All Inside Storage. Schweiss Bifold Liftstrap/Autolatch doors are a great convenience for the units and hangars.

There's nothing much more frustrating than when you discover someone scratched or rubbed against your vehicle or aircraft because it was parked too close to another while in storage. This is what John Obradovich, owner of All Inside Storage of Indio, California, describes as "Hangar Rash."

You don't have to worry about "hangar rash" at All Inside RV Storage; no one handles your RV, boat, car or whatever, but you the owner. His large storage garages leave plenty of room for personal items such as tow vehicles, trailers, fishing gear, tools and other things.

50x50 storage unit has room to spare for motorcoaches, vehicles, ane more

This 50x50 ft. storage unit at All Inside Storage at Indio, California has room to spare for motorcoaches, vehicles and other things. Only people who rent or buy they units are allowed to move vehicles in or out, thus eliminating the possibility of hangar rash. The large Schweiss bifold liftstrap/autolatch door on it gives ample headroom for any type vehicle.

His business, which he bills as "The First . . . And Still The Best" took legs back in 1997 when he moved to an airport golf community and built a four-hangar building for himself and three other pilots. He and his son, Dan, run the operation there. Each year in January they also sponsor a Motorcoach Country Club Golf Tournament.

"All Inside Storage is actually three businesses: All Inside RV Storage; All Inside Aviation Storage; and All Inside Storage Premium. RV Storage was built in 2000, the widest units are 16 ft. and have sectional doors. Next we built the airport in four stages. We have 200,000 sq. ft. with 75 hangars. They range from small Tee-hangars to box hangars 80 ft. wide with Schweiss bifold doors," explained Obradovich.

Units at All Inside Storage in Palm Springs are fully insulated

All Inside Storage has fully-insulated individual units from 10 ft. to 100 ft. wide and up to 85 ft. deep.

Obradovich says he has the cleanest RV storage in the Palm Springs area, conveniently located next to Palm Desert and La Quinta in the city of Indio. It features the finest indoor storage facility in the Coachella Valley for motorhomes, recreational vehicles, boats, classic cars, golf carts and more.

The 130 Schweiss bifold doors at All Inside Storage sit in Indio, California

Schweiss Bifold doors also have walk in doors for easy access. All Inside Storage has installed about 130 Schweiss bifold doors at their 10 acre site at Indio, California

"After many people initially came to the airport years ago trying to rent or buy a hangar for their motorhomes or car collections, I decided to build 'Hangars Not On An Airport,' and that is AIS Premium," explained Obradovich. "Our costs are reasonable and business is good!"

Long or short term rentals and select units are available for purchase. There are fully-insulated individual units from 10 ft. to 100 ft. wide and up to 85 ft. deep. The larger units have electric Schweiss bifold liftstrap doors with remote openers. Clean 60 ft. concrete driveways allow for easy access and there is an air conditioned lounge with restrooms, two covered wash areas and a local dump station. High-tech security with 24/7 access is another plus at all the buildings, which are spread over 10 acres.

A Door King Micro Plus button on your key ring will open the gate, you don't have to get out of your coach to enter the storage facility. Each entry is recorded. When activated the security system turns on the light inside your unit. The light goes out 30 minutes after you close the door. Some units are climate controlled. All units have 16 foot high ceilings and can accommodate both high and wide RVs.

To say that Obradovich and All Inside Storage is a good Schweiss Door customer is an understatement. Nearly all of his buildings have Schweiss Bifold liftstrap/autolatch doors on them; about 130 at last count. Only four of the early doors are cable lift doors, since then he has gone only with Schweiss liftstrap/autolatch doors. Dan has been in charge of installing the doors.

The liftstrap bifold door in open position with mandoor.

Hanger and storage doors range in szie from 70 ft. wide to 23 ft. wide.

"We originally built 60,000 sq. ft. for rental storage off the airport - 30 or so hangars for motorhomes and toys and 75 hangars at the airport. Our RV storage started with 38 units and we have added another 22 to that. We have now expanded that project by 40,000 sq. ft. which gives us a total of 400,000 sq. ft. of storage and hangar use; 300,000 sq. ft. of this has Schweiss doors and 100,000 sq. ft with sectional doors," said Obradovich.

These Schweiss doors date back to June of 2004 when Obradovich's first ordered eight 60 ft. x 21.9 ft. doors. Since then he has installed a 70 ft. x 21.9 ft door, numerous bifolds in the range of 50 ft. and 40 ft., with the smallest door being a 23.4 ft x 14 ft.

"All these Schweiss doors have worked well and everyone at Schweiss Doors has been good to work with. I really like the liftstrap doors, all the strap doors have the autolatches, which is really a nice feature; I like them better than the cable doors and think they are safer and you don't have to deal with frayed cables. There is no better alternative than Schweiss doors available and I would recommend them to others. Keep the improvements coming, they are great," said Obradovich.

All Inside Storage is located at 84-401 Cabazon Center Drive, Indio, CA 92201. John or Dan Obradovich can be reached by phone Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 760-775-6808 or by visiting their website at: www.allinsidervstorage.com
