Mirage Appliances corporate hangar has a 72 ft. x 22 ft. Schweiss Bifold Autolatch/Liftstrap door. Just built, it will soon have the Mirage logo attached to it. It is located at the International Airport in Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. The Mirage company Hawker Beech Craft Premier A1 easily fits into the new hangar with room to spare and it with the new Schweiss 72' door has made hangaring the plane easy for the corporate pilot and owner, Don Pedro Dabdoub, who uses the aircraft to commute between his corporate offices in Mexico and California.

Ciudad Obregon is the second largest city in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. It is a historic and beautiful city of 405,000 population located near the Gulf of California about 395 miles north of Mazatlan and 400 miles straight south of Tucson, Arizona. It gets its name from Mexican farmer, turned general and former Mexican President from 1920-24, Alvaro Obregon, who served during the bloodiest years of the Mexican Revolution.
One particular building in this scenic city, is a very modern and attractive hangar that houses a custom-made 72' 2" x 22' 11" Schweiss Bifold Autolatch Liftstrap door.
This hangar is owned by Mirage Appliances Company and is used to house a Hawker Beech Craft Premier A1 owned by Mirage Company's owner Don Pedro Dabdoub and located at the International Airport in Obregon.
Mirage Appliances Corporation (Bristol Internacional, S.A. de C.V.) was born in 1984 in order to be leaders in the industry of air conditioning, featuring the best products, quality and services. Its corporate headquarters opened in Cd. Obregon, Sonora, Mexico in 1999. Mirage entered the market in 2007 with major retail sales companies such as Walmart, HEB, Costco, Home Depot, City Club and others. In 2012 Mirage expanded its line of products to include home appliances, Built-in Hobs, water dispensers, water filter systems and water heaters. Mirage is a brand of Bristol products. Mirage is located in Cd. Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, a state located near the northern border to Arizona. It's U.S. headquarters are in San Diego, California.

The material covering the hangar and the bifold door makes it shine like a big light. It is called ALUPANEL, a aluminum composite material made of plastic, aluminum and many other layers of different material. It is made for outside use and its beautiful finish has a special protective film for self cleaning. Plans are being made to cover the inside of the door with some kind of insulation due the heat and humidity in that area.
"I searched over the Internet for Bifold doors," said Mirage Corporate translator Yolanda Felix. "Schweiss came out on my search right away. After some research, making phone calls and explaining what we needed, some of the other suppliers recommended Schweiss as well, so there was no doubt for us to make the order with you."
The hangar was just recently completed and will soon have a Mirage sign affixed to it. Once the door arrived, it was put on the hangar by a local installer. He spoke perfect English, so it was easy for him to follow the instruction manual provided by Schweiss Doors. The door arrived on perfect time.
"It has been wonderful to have this door. It has made Mr. Dabdoub and the aircraft captains lives easier. The door is very much in use and although the plane sometimes is not here; the door gets opened and closed every day," noted Felix.

The hangar is only a little over a month old, and plans are being made to finish off the interior of the hangar and Schweiss bifold door with insulation to combat the high heat and humidity of the area.
Felix said an architect on the project came up with the design, but Jeremy Rieke at Schweiss Doors helped clarify details for the corporation.
"Without Jeremy's help we wouldn't have been able to have this done. He helped us understand better our needs and paid attention to certain details to make the door work properly," added Felix.
