I am requesting a quote for a bifold strap door and a one piece hydraulic door. My building is 40 ft wide and 16 ft tall. The building is a Steel Q model. The end wall is open at the present time. I am looking at purchasing a steel building, I am looking at a bifold door lift strap door and if I remember correctly you require 24 inches higher than the clear opening height to accommodate your door in the full up position. That being said, your door frame would have to be outside the building. I am trying to wrap my head around how to tie the building to your door frame for a weather proof installation. If you have any details to help me better see how this is done, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will need costs for freight, duty, etc. I am a steel building supplier and erector in British Columbia, Canada, and need a quote on your bifold door for my customer. Door is 37x15, and it will require liftstraps and photo eyes.

My building has 16' ceiling with a 14x20 overhead door. If we switch to bi-fold, will we lose headroom? This is our repair shop for heavy equipment. We will be wanting a steel door heavily insulated.

Hi, I own a steel building and we are looking to put a one piece door in that would open up a 12-16 foot opening. height of the opening would be 8 feet. the door can open up along the side of the building i assume. please let me know what else you need. thanks Jake

My bifold hanger door got crashed into and I have an approval from the insurance company to replace it. The rough opening is 39'11" and 11'6" tall with a 9" wooden header above that. I am building a house for a client, where the bi-fold door seems like a good solution. The client is building a 3 car stackable garage, and the bi-fold door may be the only door whose retraction would not interfere with the cars, etc., as they are stacked. With that said, and I'll confirm dimensions with you, but I need a bi-fold door that is about 9' tall, and about 31' wide. We are planning on cladding the door with either brushed stainless steel, or polished stainless. If you do not have stainless capabilities, there are a couple of competent contractors locally, and I would simply need the door system and opener, with some door infrastructure that will allow me to attach my stainless.
