Looking to build a quote for a possible project. Looking to build a 60x80' multi use building in Michigan for classic car storage, RV storage, lounge, basketball and pickleball court, and baseball batting cage. Absolutely love aircraft hanger doors and how they open a space up. Hoping to install door in a sidewall corner, but cost may have us build on endwall near a corner. Ideally looking for a self supporting bifold door, majority glass (if costs are significantly affected could leave top obstructed panel as metal) in the approximate 14' tall opening height and about 40' wide. I mention "about" because if engineering has framing optimized at 42' for no extra money or 38' to reduce building loads and costs, it gives us optimizing room. Should clear a 5th wheel camper with AC unit when door is open.

I have just built a new hanger in Michigan and need a 40 ft door hole with a 14 foot wall. I have a 40 foot steel I beam with a 2 foot Webb available depending on what door stile I use

The bi-fold doors will be installed on the Wexford County Airport Community Center Pavilion in Michigan. The building is 150 ft. x 50 ft. Three doors will be installed on each sidewall of the building for a total of six doors. Doors to be insulated for year round use of the pavilion.

I am building a hangar home in northern Michigan. 4y4 airport in Mancelona, Michigan 49659. Looking for a 50' wide by 16' tall door with windows. Hangar will be heated, so door needs to be well sealed. Hangar will likely be steel. But will quote it both ways. Leaning towards schweiss strapped bi fold with remote. Originally wanted hydraulic, but your site has me nervous about snow load and its removal from the truss. Depending on cost, may just put in two of them vs overhead doors at the other end?
