We have purchased a property with a shop 60 wide, 112 long built in 2019. We insulated the building with R60 in the ceiling and R30 in the walls ourselfs. The building has rollup doors at each end 14' high and 18' wide non insulated. We are pricing to have insulated doors to replace these doors, one that is 24'X (15'6" or 16') high and the second door 18' wide, 14' high. Does your door come with a frame that can be attached to the Menard building we have or do we need to reinforce the walls we have. Also what R valve do you have in the doors. The building is being leased to a manufacturing company Agribrink which installs equipment on Ag equipment. I am looking for a large door for a planned 70ft by 40 ft building that will hold small sailboats with masts up. The maximum building height allowed by code in 40 ft. I need a door 40 ft wide, 36 ft tall. The challenge is a door tall enough to accomodate the masts. What would you recommend? Thanks

I have a custom build red iron 40’x60’ building, I’m looking to finish out one 40’ end wall with a door like yours. The side walls are 12’, but I’m thinking of having that end wall door be approx 28’ wide and 12’ tall. Just looking at what the price range on that would be? Current there is no way no wall, I have a cable with a trucker tarp for temporary wall/door. So I can Frame it out with what ever is needed before hand.

I'm researching the cost of a bifold liftstrap door for a large metal storage building where we may build tiny houses. The current door slides side to side and the new one would be 14 to 15 feet tall and go up into the ceiling of the building. I don't know what the width should be with that height. I am interested in installing a bifold strap door in an existing steel building. I need at least 10’ 6”’of height clearance. I could increase the height of the door opening all the way to 13’. I am looking to install this in the side of the building. It will require the removal of one of the side steel I beams that support the structure. This bifold strap door should be steel. It will have a 4'-0" transom above and has a single storefront door on each side of it. We will an add about 2 1/2 aluminum storefront and a laminated / tempered glass on the front of your steel door. It will add 10 lbs. per sq. ft. to the door.

The building is an upgraded masonry and steel building in Berkeley, CA. We would like the door from Schweiss Doors to have a metal skin; aluminum or steel wit no windows. If steel, it does not have to be stainless; it could be bare hot rolled or Corten. Question: if the power goes out, is there a way to manually open the door whether Schweiss bifold or hydraulic? Metal building: 30W X 50L with 12' high side walls on reinforced concrete slab. Walls will be 26 gauge R panel. Roof will be 2:1 pitch Galvalume.
