134: HYDRAULIC FARM SHOP DOORS

1

Wanting to get an idea on price for a hydraulic door for a new shop we are looking at building. Have looked at your doors for years at the farm show in Louisville. At this point looking for 1 door. Would like to price a 40' door and a 60' door, 20' Tall. Barn metal exterior with maybe 4 widows for light and vision outside. It will probably be on an end wall of a wood construction building with a 4' tall concrete wall, so 16' of wood. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

Looking at building a farm shop with Graber Post Buildings out of Montgomery, IN. I'd like to price an 18'x30' Hydraulic door for it. There's a door in one of your model pics I'd like to imitate.

I am currently working on an electrical design for FBI Buildings in Remington Indiana. They are installing two 50' x 20' Hydraulic doors. I was hoping that someone could share the electrical requirements that these doors take to run? Thank You,

4

the hydraulic door on this OK farm shop would have to clear the opening height so there is no head room loss. the door is offset of the shop also it will require four windows across and a walk door. I'm just wondering if this would be possible with your doors and also if i could get an approximate price. Thanks, Chad

I may be interested in this option as a hydraulic door solution for my IA farm shop building. What information do you need to design me a one piece hydraulic door? Thanks

8

I have a one year old Cleary farm building with a 36' opening (two 18' sliding doors). My shop is insulated, as well as the doors, but the present doors are too light and do a terrible job of sealing. I'm ready to look for something different. Would your hydraulic doors install on a Cleary building? The door opening is 19' in height and 36' in width. Can you give me a rough estimate of what one of your bifold doors (with straps) would cost? I've seen your doors up close and they are very well made .

9

Need a Schweiss custom-made machine shed door - rough opening of 14.5' high, 26' wide. What would you suggest, Bifold or Hydraulic? This is going in a shed already constructed and will replace the rolling doors now on this farm shed.

Hello I am looking for some more information on your Hydraulic Red Power door. We have a 26 by 16 door now with a steel header. Just kinda wondering where a rough ball park figure would be for a this door. What do you supply? What would we supply? Do you have condensation problems with these doors in a heated farm shop? Do you install the doors? Is there a remote option? Any information you can give me would be great. Thanks

20

Are still in planning stages on farm shop building/hanger. Will build 100'x100'x16' or 18' high ceilings to get a full 16' ceiling with door up. Will have a 50'x16'-18' door on each end of building. Will decide on Hydraulic or bi-fold, depending on price and best door for our needs. Leaning toward hydraulic if no leaks and mess. Maybe hydraulic on one end and bifold on other.

Hi, I have a 60X40 foot steel bldg on my Farm in West Plains Mo, and looking to put a hydraulic door in the 40 foot end, for my Grummen AA5 aircraft. Have a 10 foot clearance, and the 40 foot is the nonweight bearing end of the bldg. What would be the timing, costs, and shipping of a 34 X 10 foot door? Are there complications with installation?

36

This hydraulic door is for visual appeal to the front of our new dairy parlour barn. Looking for natural light in winter and ventilation in summer.

37

I need a hydraulic door to cover a opening 42' wide x 10' high. It will be installed on the gable end of a 64' wide building. The right verticle edge will be approx. 9' in from the right corner of the building. The left side will be approx. 13' from the left corner. So, this door can be raised above the 10' opening by hinging the top above the 10' high opening on the surface of the gable end. the roof is a 3/12 pitch so the point will be approx. 8' high. 9' in from the right side should be about 27" above the 10' high opening. I am sure this will be plenty of space above the opening.  Level of diffaculty for us to install? Do you provide installation on site at additional cost? What is approx cost to install by you if provided? What are the panels covered with on the outside? Are these tight for weather and critters? Other questions I have not asked? Looking forward to a quick reply as this is a big part of the new building I am planning on my farm. thanks

38
