I’m getting ready to build a 60 foot wide wood hangar with a 45 foot wide door in Alaska. Wall height is 12ft and I’d like the door as tall as possible. I’ve heard good things about hydraulic swing doors from neighbors but I’m open to bifold as well if there’s a good reason.

requesting a quote for a new hangar door for our Civil Air Patrol hangar in Alaska. The floor tends to move up and down during the winter/summer season changes. We'd need a door solution that can handle elevation changes throughout the seasons. Thanks in advance for any help!

Covered connex hangar in western Alaska. Steel connex sides with a wooden clearspan truss roof. I would like this door to have side columns. four windows 8' O.C. Exterior of the door will be cladded with metal, no cladding inside.

Hello, I am wondering what is available online for routine maintenance regarding strap Schweiss bifold doors? The company I work for (Bering Air) recently started operating 3 strap bifold hangar doors. 1 new 1 newly converted and 1 newly acquired older door and we have plans to convert two more hangar doors to straps. Is there any online courses, videos, or manuals for routine maintenance and adjustments? We live and operate in remote Alaska and would like to know we are maintaining our hangar doors properly. Any info or suggestions will be helpful.

I am building a 60' x 60' hanger with 18' eaves next summer in Willow Alaska. I am hoping to get a quote for the most cost effective Bifold style door to install on one side of the building.
